Ellen Price, DO, is a physiatrist focused on managing work-related injuries, chronic musculoskeletal injuries, and delayed recovery. Dr. Price has additional training in medical acupuncture, occupational medicine, electrodiagnostics, and sports medicine. She focuses on understanding the history of an injury and the many causes of acute and chronic pain, while integrating both conventional and alternative medicine in facilitating healing. Dr. Price received her degree in pain medicine and physical medicine from Nova Southeastern University of Osteopathic Medicine in Miami.
Dr. Price was the Medical Director of a multidisciplinary pain program in Grand Junction for 12 years. She is dual boarded in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. Her expertise is in managing work related injuries, acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and delayed recovery. She has additional training in medical acupuncture, occupational medicine, electrodiagnostics, sports medicine and independent medical examinations.
Peter T. Scheffel, MD from Monument Orthopedics and Sports Trauma
Dr. Scheffel is a shoulder, knee and hip arthroscopy specialist. He provides treatment / surgery for adult and pediatric patients who suffer from fractures, sports injuries, acute and degenerative injuries, or other orthopedic conditions.
A graduate of the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Dr. Scheffel is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He completed his internship and residency in the General Surgery and Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Departments of the University of Washington. He also completed an additional fellowship in the subspecialty of sports medicine at the University of Utah Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine.
Larry D. Tice, MD from Atlas Arch Neurosurgery
Larry D. Tice, MD, FACS specializes in neurosurgery, providing surgical treatment for all types of neurological disorders. Dr. Tice received his training at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center and over the last 30 years has performed highly technical surgeries to correct disorders of the central, autonomic, and peripheral nervous systems. Dr. Tice continues to provide expert care in the treatment of spinal and nerve conditions while serving as the Medical Director at Family Health West.
