**One evening class will be held per quarter in Grand Junction. Note the location change.**

A FREE community education series held every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 9:00 am – 10:30 am at the Fruita Community Center. The class is held in the Peach Room, located directly behind the staff/front desk.

Upcoming Classes

Tuesday, May 13 | 9:00 am – 10:30 am 

Dr. Andrew Winnefeld & Sarah Winnefeld; They will present together for the full session on dementia. Dr. Winnefeld is with the FHW Primary Care clinic, and Sarah is a seasoned presenter on the topic of Alzheimer’s and is connected with the Alzheimer’s Association.

This class will engage class participants with a quiz and allow plenty of time for questions.

Upcoming 2025 Table Talk Speakers-

  • June 10: Mesa County Sheriff’s Office will present on common frauds and scams. Also, CEC will highlight behavioral health options for residents from across the county.
  • July 8: A speaker from Hopewest and the local CSU Extension Office will be presenting.
  • Aug. 12: Eric Makovsky, FHW VP of Hospital Operations, will review the importance of vaccines throughout your life + more! And, Lower Valley Fire Department Chief Matt K., will cover all things fire safety.
