Opening the door to mental health care in Mesa County
No one in our community should have to face depression, anxiety, trauma, or isolation alone because they cannot afford help. The Family Health West Foundation is here to make sure cost is never the reason a child, parent, or grandparent goes without care.
Through our Resilience Fund, we partner with Family Health West Behavioral Health to provide financial support for outpatient mental health services—from counseling to psychiatric care for people of all ages in Mesa County.
Every $1,000 we raise can support one person who is struggling to access the care they need. When you give, you’re not just making a donation—you’re opening the door to hope, healing, and a healthier future for your neighbors.
The Family Health West Foundation is the philanthropic partner of Family Health West, a community‑based health system serving Fruita and the broader Mesa County region. Our mission is to support programs and services that improve health, enhance quality of life, and keep care close to home.
Right now, our primary focus is mental health.
Across Mesa County, children, teens, adults, and seniors are experiencing significant behavioral health challenges. Many know they need help—but rising costs, limited coverage, and financial stress make consistent care feel out of reach.
