At Family Health West (FHW) our Respiratory Therapist staff support our patients in the inpatient unit as they rehabilitate back to a higher quality of life. Our Respiratory Therapists also provide support in the emergency room as essential members of the patient care team. What’s learned in school is the technical aspect of the work done by a respiratory therapist, but what you bring to the role is a caregiver, supports Family Health West in continuing to provide top-notch care to our patients. It is important that our Respiratory Therapists have a desire to support patients in healing through a total body wellness approach. Our Respiratory Therapists are part of a close-knit team who gets to know our patients, their families and celebrate patient successes with them.
This is an exciting time to join the FHW team! Our staff works hard but can have some fun on the job as well, approaches patient care with a mindful touch, is enthusiastic about healing, self-motivated, and motivating to our patients through inspiration, kindness, and anything but ordinary.
