Our Behavioral Health clinic offers psychological and neuropsychological services–evaluation and treatment of mood, emotional, and adjustment difficulties in adolescents and adults, including depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, post-traumatic stress, chronic pain, and brain injury.
Dr. John Gustavson has a doctorate (Ph.D.) in clinical psychology and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology. He has been in practice in Western Colorado since 1985. Eric Gustavson has a master’s degree in mental health counseling, is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), and is credentialed as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). He has worked in the field of mental and behavioral health in Grand Junction for 12 years.
Family Health West is excited to offer a free new support group for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. The group will cover topics such as gender trends, sexuality, coming out, pronouns and labels, stereotypes, acceptance, and responding to homophobia. Navigating love in our world can be complicated, difficult, and sometimes even scary. Family Health West wants to offer support and guidance at no charge! Starting December 13, 2024, the support group will meet every Friday at 4pm, in the FHW Support Services Building (SSB). The SSB is located at 228 N. Cherry St., Fruita, and is not the FHW Hospital.
