Are you looking for a walk-in option for an illness that doesn't rise to the emergency room level? You've found us! The Family Health West Urgent Care Clinic is staffed with Board Certified physicians and nurse practitioners, 7 days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Our Urgent Care Clinic is easy to find and access, located just south of the Fruita I-70 ramp and behind the Vietnam War Memorial Park. Urgent Care is next door to the Family Health West Primary Clinic at 401 Kokopelli Blvd, Unit 3, Fruita. Just walk in, no appointment is needed, and our compassionate caregivers will treat you like family.
We won't test your patients, but we can do a number of tests to help diagnose a sudden on-set issue, a broken bone, offer stitches, or treat an illness. Our urgent care clinic commonly sees patients for the following:
Labs can also be done at our Urgent Care Clinic, and x-rays will soon be available on-site. Currently, x-rays are available through the Family Health West Radiology Department (in the FHW Hospital) with orders from a caregiver at our Urgent Care Clinic.
If you prefer an appointment for an unexpected illness, the Family Health West After Hours Clinic is also available.
The Family Health West, Urgent Care Clinic, accepts most insurance and self-pay. Payment is due at the time of service, including co-pays. The cost of treatment will range based on each patient's insurance plan and the complexity of the visit needs.
The Family Health West Emergency Room within the FHW Hospital is open 24/7 with Board Certified physicians for emergency needs and life-threatening medical issues.
Current FHW Urgent Care clinic providers are Dr. Diane Dill, Dr. Paul Simmons, Samantha McCluskey, NP, and Carolina Carvelli, NP.
